Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson catches a pass against the St. Louis Rams - Dilip Vishwanat

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson caught five passes for 98 yards in the Week 16 loss to the St. Louis Rams. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson caught five passes for 98 yards in the Week 16 loss to the St. Louis Rams. Jackson was targeted ten times in the game and basically is the Buccaneers offense right now. Only tight end/wide receiver Tim Wright had meaningful looks besides Jackson with six. On the year, Jackson has 74 receptions for 1189 yards and seven touchdowns. He is averaging 77.9 receiving yards per game.

Fantasy impact: Jackson is having a good year despite the inevitable struggles that come with a rookie quarterback. Still, the Rams left him open at least once which allowed for some of the production. The Rams are giving up the sixteenth most fantasy points to wide receivers. The Buccaneers will face the New Orleans Saints in Week 17. They are giving up fifth least fantasy points to wide receivers. They are also coming off a bad loss to the Carolina Panthers so Jackson may be a risky play.
