Ray Rice, Joe Flacco disappoint fantasy football owners in Week 16 loss to Patriots

Patrick Smith

The entire Ravens offense was off the mark in Week 16.

The Baltimore Ravens' offense was a mess in a 41-7 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 16.

Both quarterback Joe Flacco and running back Ray Rice disappointed fantasy football owners with mediocre performances in the blowout loss. Rice had 63 total yards on 13 touches, while Flacco had 260 passing yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Not exactly what the Ravens were hoping for out of the two franchise players on their offense.

Fantasy spin: The Ravens' offense hasn't exactly been a fantasy football gold mine in 2013. Rice and Flacco have both been average at best, especially considering the contracts they signed in recent years. Still, Baltimore is alive in the playoff chase, so the entire Ravens offense will remain relevant for fantasy football teams still playing in Week 17.

Baltimore heads to Cincinnati in Week 17 with a playoff spot in the line. The Ravens' offensive playmakers will have one more chance at redemption.
