Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 17: Rashad Jennings could have value

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODA

The Raiders have a terrific matchup this week, but will a timeshare be enough to scare Rashad Jennings' fantasy owners away?

The Oakland Raiders host a Denver Broncos team with a lot to play for on Sunday, but Denver's defense is going to be a little weaker with Von Miller out of the lineup. This bodes well for the Raiders running game.

Even before the Miller injury, the Broncos had given up 100 yards or more to running backs in six of their last 12 games. On top of that, they've allowed 15 rushing TDs. Clearly, teams are looking to run the ball more to try and keep Peyton Manning off the field, which seems like the course of action for the Raiders.

Oakland ran the ball 17 times as a team in Week 16 against the San Diego Chargers while Rashad Jennings added three receptions in the passing game.

Fantasy impact: The Raiders have trusted Jennings as their main guy. His ability to add catches in the passing game makes him an interesting player to use in fantasy leagues. Darren McFadden will likely get five to 10 touches, but Jennings should still get 15-plus, and that should be more than enough for him to produce. He's an RB2 this week in a nice matchup.
