All the injuries in the NFL can make your head spin, so to help, here's a list of guys who are banged up and what those injuries mean.
Aaron Rodgers - There is talk of Rodgers sitting out for the year, but it's really simple: His owners have to hang in there. If you cut him, someone else in your league will pounce in no time. Matt Flynn takes too many sacks and is extremely risky.
Christian Ponder - He suffered a concussion on Sunday, but the offense has been able to move the ball well with Matt Cassel. Kyle Rudolph should have better numbers with Cassel and put up a 97-yard, one-score game against the Panthers earlier this year.
Percy Harvin - The Seattle Seahawks could shut down Percy Harvin for the rest of the season, but his owners really have to continue to stash him. That's especially true in PPR leagues. If he is shut down, Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin would benefit.
Aaron Dobson - Just as he was heating up, he is dealing with a sprained foot to take the wind out of his sails as a fantasy asset. Kenbrell Thompkins gets the extra work, but Julian Edelman has been getting the targets. Danny Amendola has been quiet, but bigger things could be coming.
Randall Cobb - He could be back for Week 15, but there haven't been many updates on him. Plus, Rodgers' up-in-the-air status doesn't help.
Andre Ellington - He was "never close" to playing, so his status will be up in the air. Rashard Mendenhall didn't do anything with his extra touches, so Ellington could have a nice role on his way back. He should be owned in all leagues.
DeAngelo Williams - He missed last week due to a quad injury, but is expected to be back for Sunday's game. Williams should be ready to practice, so unless he misses that, he's basically a lock to play. Fantasy owners should be steering clear even in an interesting matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
C.J. Spiller - His ankle is fine, so owners should be feeling pretty good after his breakout day of 149 rushing yards in Week 13. Start him until further notice.
Brandon Jacobs - He has a knee issue and has been out of the lineup. It's Andre Brown's show at running back and he's a must-start player.
Julius Thomas - He wasn't ruled out until 90 minutes before, so there's a chance he can get it going for Week 14. His owners almost have to start him.
