Reggie Bush misses practice Wednesday, still strong fantasy play in Week 14

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

The Lions running back missed practice for unknown reasons on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush (undisclosed) missed practice on Wednesday, according to a report by Chris McCosky of the Detroit News. He had 25 touches last week against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Impact: Bush has been an elite performer this year. Fantasy owners will need him to play on Sunday, especially against the porous Philadelphia Eagles.

Bush managed an outstanding 182 total yards and a touchdown last week. It'll be interesting to see whether or not he can play this week. Perhaps it's just a rest day for Bush.

He is expected to practice again on Thursday. At the beginning of the season, it was somewhat uncertain whether he or Joique Bell would be the starting running back for the Lions. Now it's clear Bush is the man, and the Lions are going to need him to finish the season strong.
