Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Lamar Miller finally worth a play?

Lamar Miller might have a chance to redeem himself with Daniel Thomas out of the picture. Should fantasy owners trust him?

Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller should be the main man now. Running back Daniel Thomas doesn't have a timetable to return from his ankle injury and he could be out for the rest of the season.

Miller was the workhorse against the New York Jets last week, but could only rush for 72 yards on 22 carries. The Jets have the best rushing defense in the NFL, leading the league in yards per carry and rushing yards against.

He really showed some burst in the win and would have put up a better numbers if not for penalties taking away some of his yards. Plus, Mike Gillislee only had six carries behind him. The fullbacks also carried the ball five times.

Fantasy impact: It's rare that the Steelers serve as an improvement in the matchup department, but that's the case for Miller. The Dolphins have been better at moving the ball and they will absolutely need to get a ground game going to keep Ryan Tannehill upright. The Phins lead the NFL in sacks allowed, so it's fair to say Pittsburgh will be blitzing early and often. Miller is a nice RB2 in almost any format in the sub-par matchup.
