Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: C.J. Spiller back in the mix as fantasy starter

C.J. Spiller had a couple huge runs against the Falcons and he'll get the Buccaneers on Sunday. Should fantasy owners feel comfortable starting him after such a terrible season?

Well, it's been a long season for Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller. His 4.8 yards per carry is not even close to his 6.0 from last year and the 656 rushing yards on the season was a number some folks were expecting him to have by Week 6.

Spiller has dealt with ankle injuries for much of the season, and he even had an ankle flare up last Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Even with the gimpy ankle, the 26-year-old back exploded for 157 total yards and a score in a losing effort.

He was a ghost over the previous two games with just 6 rushing yards in Week 11 and 23 in Week 10 against the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers, respectively.

The Bills will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14. The Bucs have been solid on the season, ranking 12th in rushing yards allowed, 18th in yards per carry allowed and have surrendered the seventh-fewest rushing TDs in the NFL.

Fantasy impact: The Bucs are winning games, but they've been giving up some points. It's really going to be hard to bench Spiller after a breakout game, so unless you have someone like Ben Tate or Andre Brown who you got on the cheap, he probably should be in your lineup this week.
