The Week 14 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers features two mediocre teams with some star power in their lineups. We have all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.
E.J. Manuel looked to be having a solid season for a rookie quarterback prior to hurting his knee against the Cleveland Browns earlier this season. Things just haven't been the same since. He only managed one touchdown against an Atlanta Falcons squad with a struggling secondary. At this point, Manuel is not really a fantasy option for the playoff drive.
Manuel will have to rely on running backs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller against the Buccaneers this week, as is usually the case. Neither back is lighting it up of late. Jackson however did have a better stat line last week. He rushed for 42 yards on 11 carries and found a pair of touchdowns against the Falcons.
Rookie quarterback Mike Glennon has led the Buccaneers to wins in three of the last four games. Unfortunately, he ran into the stout Carolina Panthers defense last week and crashed back down to earth. He didn't record a touchdown pass, threw an interception and was sacked five times in the game. That said, the Panthers are on fire, so that doesn't mean Glennon can't bounce back against the Bills.
If Glennon does succeed on Sunday, he'll no doubt do it throwing the ball to Vincent Jackson. Jackson was equally held in check against the Panthers last week but he should be able to rebound against a Bills secondary that is not nearly as formidible. That said, he only has five catches in the last two games, so fantasy owners better hope he snaps out of it now.
