Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez leaves the stadium - Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE

Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez caught four passes for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez caught four passes for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Gonzalez will retire at the end of the year, but he is still a reliable option for quarterback Matt Ryan. He was targeted a seven times in the game which is third behind Roddy White and Harry Douglas. Gonzalez is averaging 54.4 yards per game and has caught five touchdown passes.

Fantasy impact: Gonzalez is still getting the job done even if he isn't putting up the numbers he did in the past, but he is a solid start at tight end and you could certainly do a lot worse going into the playoffs. He is the third most targeted receiver in the Falcons offense this year. The Falcons will face the Washington Redskins in Week 15. They are giving up the seventh most fantasy points to tight ends.
