Jordy Nelson salvages fantasy value with solid game

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson shows off his speed - Mike McGinnis

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson caught four passes for 85 yards in the Week 14 win over the Atlanta Falcons. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson caught four passes for 85 yards in the Week 14 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Nelson was targeted four times by quarterback Matt Flynn and caught every target. Nelson's production has plummeted since the Packers lost quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a fractured clavicle. Nelson is averaging 80 yards per game and has seven touchdown passes on the season. He remains the Packers most targeted receiver.

Fantasy impact: Nelson owners are being teased with the possibility of Rodgers return, which would assuredly help his fantasy stats. Still, this game gives hope that Nelson can still get it done with Matt Flynn at the help though amazingly Andrew Quarless drew the most targets with seven and caught a touchdown pass. Nelson is the Packers most consistent wide receiver and will remain very much in the mix. The Packers will face the Dallas Cowboys and their generous safety in Week 15. They are giving up the 12th most fantasy points to wide receivers.
