Week 1 of the fantasy football season is in the books. It's probably too early to make any drastic moves to your roster, but there are still some intriguing talents left on the waiver wire. Here are five receivers to keep an eye on, owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! leagues:
Rueben Randle, New York Giants (owned in 48 percent of leagues)
Randle is going to be heavily involved in the passing game with the Giants run game struggling. He racked up five catches for 101 yards. Randle could explode in fantasy if Hakeem Nicks or Victor Cruz go down.
Darrius Heyward-Bey, Indianapolis Colts (owned in 47 percent of leagues)
DHB doesn't offer much other than downfield speed, but he will continue to start ahead of T.Y. Hilton and is in line for a good number of targets. He's worth targeting as a WR4 with upside.
Julian Edelman, New England Patriots (owned in 22 percent of leagues)
The Patriots rookies played like, well, rookies against the Bills. As a result, Brady turned to reliable veterans in Edelman and Danny Amendola. Edelman hauled in two touchdowns on Sunday and could continue getting targets if Kenbrell Thompkins continues to struggle.
Rod Streater, Oakland Raiders (owned in 7 percent of leagues)
Against all odds, Terrelle Pryor didn't embarrass himself against the Colts. Streater was a big beneficiary, getting five catches for 70 yards. He's shaping up to be Pryor's favorite target and is worth rostering in PPR leagues if Pryor continues looking like a competent NFL quarterback.
Marlon Brown, Baltimore Ravens (owned in 4 percent of leagues)
Jacoby Jones is out for 4-6 weeks with an MCL sprain, so it's next man up for the Ravens depth chart. The good news is that Brown looked impressive in the preseason and got four catches for 65 yards. The Ravens are desperate for help at receiver, and the undrafted rookie could provide that. He's someone to watch.
