Denver Broncos' head coach John Fox says people shouldn't read too much into the Broncos' depth chart in the backfield, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.
Knowshon Moreno got the start in the team's week 1 victory over the Baltimore Ravens and finished with just 28 yards on nine carries while also adding three receptions for 37 yards. In comparison, Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman managed eight and six touches respectively with neither of the three running backs managing a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: There's no reason to expect much to change in week 2 for the Broncos, as Moreno is the most familiar with the Broncos' offensive plays and blocking responsibilities. Fantasy owners who gambled on the upside of Ball or Hillman may need to look elsewhere if they are in need of a running back that has more of a featured role. At least early on, it looks like Moreno is the guy to own for now, with Ball and Hillman on the outside looking in.
