Ben Tate injury update: Will play in fantasy lineups Sunday

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Ben Tate fully participated in practice this week and will play against the Titans on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans running back Ben Tate (shoulder) fully participated in practice this week and will play in the Texan's home opener this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Impact: The Texans' running back situation is an interesting one to say the least. Coach Gary Kubiak has insisted all week that he'd like to see Tate split touches with Arian Foster more evenly going forward. Last week, Foster out-touched Tate by a fairly wide margin (Foster managed 24 touches to Tate's 11). Foster says he wasn't happy with his workload in Week 1 and it looks like Kubiak is not phased by his star's complaints, which bodes well for Tate's fantasy owners.
