Owen Daniels injury update: Ready for fantasy owners Sunday

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODA

Owen Daniels' back and groin problems won't stop him from playing vs. the Titans on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels was a full participant in Friday's practice and is set to start in the Texans' home opener against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Daniels caught five passes for 67 yards and two scores in the Texans' come from behind 31-28 win in Week 1. Daniels as always been regarded as a borderline top tier tight end and might be considered elite on a lesser team without the likes of Andre Johnson leading the way. Though he has missed time due to injuries in each of the last four seasons, he's managed to play all but one game in both of the last two years. Fantasy owners should have him in their lineup against the inferior Titans.
