Daryl Richardson injury update: Will start in Atlanta for fantasy owners Sunday

Scott Rovak-USA TODAY Sports

Rams running back Daryl Richardson will play on Sunday despite a foot injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

St. Louis Rams running back Daryl Richardson (foot) was a full participant in practice on Friday and will start for the Rams against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The running back had been limited earlier in the week, it looks like he's ready to go.

Fantasy Impact: Richardson managed 99 total yards on 25 touches for the Rams in a 27-24 Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals. His 3.2 yards per carry on the ground against the Cardinals was less than impressive, but the Cards are known for their defense and it was Richardson's first game as a bonafide starter. Keep Richardson in your lineup this week as most of his potential is yet to be fully realized.
