Broncos vs. Giants: Fantasy football projections for Peyton Manning, Demaryius Thomas, David Wilson

Dustin Bradford

We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 10 matchup between the Denver Broncos and New York Giants.

The Denver Broncos will take their stacked offense to New Jersey to battle the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon. Peyton Manning headlined Week 1 with a his seven-TD explosion and his brother Eli wasn't too shabby, either, as he currently ranks second in the NFL in passing yards. To help prepare for fantasy football lineup questions this week, we've got player projections courtesy of numberFire.

Denver Broncos

Obviously, nobody is expecting Peyton to hang another seven touchdowns on the road, but he should still flirt with 300 yards and is a very good bet for multiple scores. There could be more touchdowns than expected coming, however, with the Giants secondary a little banged up and the Broncos offense at near-full strength outside of minor injuries to Eric Decker (shoulder) and Wes Welker (ankle).

The rushing attack is a total mess and we'd probably suggest just avoiding this situation. Montee Ball could be the most likely to score since he got some goal-line work in Week 1 and leads the group based on projections.  Demaryius Thomas, Welker and Decker are safe to start and Julius Thomas could also build off his two-TD game.

New York Giants

The six turnovers for the Giants were costly in their Week 1 loss to the Cowboys. David Wilson put the ball on the ground twice, but he still projects to be the top point scorer at running back. Da'Rel Scott could get the start, but he is far too risky to play.

The Giants' passing attack is going to have to bring its A game against Peyton and Co. Eli is projected to finish under 300 yards, but he might have to air it out again this week and very well could clear 400. His turnovers could be a problem, though. Victor Cruz is safe to start and Hakeem Nicks could also be a big player with Champ Bailey out of the lineup again.
