Jay Cutler has solid day for fantasy owners

Chicago Bears quarterback celebrates a touchdown with team mates - Jonathan Daniel

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had a solid day Sunday for fantasy owners throwing for 290 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Chicago Bears win against the Minnesota Vikings. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Jay Cutler threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns in the Chicago Bears win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Cutler also threw two interceptions and was sacked once but the Bears produced points. The Bears continue to be balanced on offense but Cutler is in rhythm with wide receiver Brandon Marshall and tight end Martellus Bennett. The Bears are throwing the ball down the field and putting up points this year.

Fantasy impact: Cutler is thriving under new head coach Marc Trestman and the Bears offense is moving the ball and producing points. Cutler needs to cut down on the mistakes but he is having a solid year thus far for fantasy owners. The Bears are throwing a lot and Cutler has five touchdowns heading into Week 3. He is moving toward QB1 territory and clearly is a must start right now. The Bears face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3 and the Steelers will be coming off a short week having played on Monday Night football against a tough Cincinnati Bengals team.
