Matt Forte produces 161 yards for fantasy owners in Week 2

Matt Forte breaks a Chris Cook tackle - Jonathan Daniel

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte rushed for 90 yards on Sunday and caught 11 passes for 71 yards. Forte didn't find the end zone in the Bears win over the Minnesota Vikings but he was very productive otherwise. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte carried the ball 19 times for 90 yards in the Bears win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Forte didn't find the end zone but he got the lion's share of the carries. Forte is going to be the feature back in a productive Bears offense, which will create opportunities for him to find the end zone. The Bears are going to throw the ball a lot and Forte was also targeted 11 times Sunday. He caught everything quarterback Jay Cutler threw him and finished with 71 receiving yards.

Fantasy impact: Forte produced 161 offensive yards for the Bears on Sunday and was active in both the running game and passing game. While he didn't find the end zone he is going to get plenty of opportunities to score if he stays healthy. He is a must start in all fantasy leagues. The Bears play a Pittsburgh Steelers team in Week 3 that will be coming off a short week having played the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football.
