Andre Johnson sits out of practice, fantasy status in doubt

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Andre Johnson (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. He left Sunday's game with concussion-like symptoms and did not return.

Andre has been racking up the targets so far, leading to a total of 20 receptions for 222 yards in two games. He could miss some time against the Ravens on Sunday.

Fantasy impact: The Texans have been optimistic in Andre's status, but concussions can be tricky. The good news is that Andre and the Texans have an early game on Sunday, so fantasy owners won't have to cover their bases. DeAndre Hopkins had a coming-out party on Sunday, catching seven balls for 117 yards and a game-winning TD. The Texans aren't going to miss AJ too badly and they might just run the ball more and look to their rookie more often in the passing game.
