Tennessee Titans running back has been ruled out of this Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. After signing a three-year contract with the team in the offseason, Greene has four carries for 18 yards and a touchdown, all in the team's opening game of the season.
Fantasy impact: Greene is a powerful back that could get some points thanks to goal-line carries, but any chance of him being in a timeshare situation with Chris Johnson would leave Greene on the lower end of the touches. He had opportunities to prove he could be a workhorse back in the NFL with the New York Jets over the last few years and was unable to truly cement himself as such. While Greene works his way back, it looks like Jackie Battle will be the guy supporting Johnson with a few touches around the goal line. Fantasy owners who have Greene probably have a flex back or receiver in place already, but if you don't, now is the time to seek one out.
