Sebastian Janikowski injury update: Fantasy owners preparing for lots of 'probable' tags

Doug Pensinger

Sebastin Janikowski is probable to face the Colts. We break down the fantasy implications.

Sebastian Janikowski (right calf) is probable to face the Colts on Sunday. He sat out of practice on Wednesday and was limited in Thursday and Friday.

He's going to play and this is nothing new for Janikowski. He was on the injury report for almost all of last season, but he hasn't missed a game since 2001. The former first-round pick hit 91.2 percent of his kicks last year and has one of the strongest legs in the league.

Fantasy impact: Don't worry, folks. Well, don't worry about the injury. The Raiders are really going to have a tough time scoring points all season long and that will limit Janikowski's upside. This week is actually a good matchup for him. The Colts game is inside and their defense is one of the worst in the league. If you have Seabass, you should start him this week.
