Falcons vs. Saints: Fantasy football projections featuring Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Steven Jackson

US PRESSWIRE

We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 1 matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.

The 2013 NFL regular season is underway and we've got a great matchup right off the bat in the NFC South. The New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons in a game that could turn into quite a shootout. The Saints have their head coach back, and will look to rebound from a sub-par 2012. The Falcons came up just short in the NFC Championship Game, but have reloaded for one more run.

To help you prepare your fantasy football lineup each week during the 2013 NFL season,, we've got game-by-game player projections courtesy of numberFire.

Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are trying a little something new with their offensive attack in 2013. The Falcons signed Steven Jackson away from the St. Louis Rams, and will look to develop a more effective rushing attack. Of course, with Matt Ryan, Roddy White, Julio Jones nad Tony Gonzalez spreading things out down the field, Jackson should be able to find some room to work.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints get Sean Payton back, and are hoping that will be the difference-maker in 2013. They return a lot of the same weapons for Drew Brees, with Jimmy Graham, Marques Colston and Darren Sproles standing out as the top three weapons for the Saints all-world quarterback. Expect big things this season.
