A.J. Green has big first half for Bengals, fantasy owners

USA TODAY Sports

A.J. Green certainly isn't disappointing his fantasy owners through one half of play. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green had a huge first half against the Bears on Sunday. Green caught two touchdown passes and totaled 129 receiving yards in the first half as the Bengals lead the Bears 14-7.

Green's first touchdown, with 2:38 left in the first quarter, was for 2 yards, after he had a 42-yard completion earlier in the drive. He followed that with a 45-yard touchdown reception late in the second quarter.

Fantasy impact: Green being a stud is no surprise, as he went in the top two or three among receivers in almost all fantasy drafts. If there were any concerns about him entering the season, it was about the ability of quarterback Andy Dalton to get him the ball.

Those concerns will fade if Green can keep going like he did in the first half Sunday. The super-stud is, in fact, a super-stud.
