Eli Manning throws four touchdowns, three interceptions in inconsistent fantasy performance

Manning was a mixed bag on Sunday Night Football.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning had an up-and-down fantasy performance on Sunday Night Football in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Manning threw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns in the loss, but he was also intercepted three times by a Cowboys defense that forced the Giants into six turnovers in the game.

Fantasy spin: Manning threw the ball 42 times last night, mostly because of the Giants trailing for most of the game and not having success running the football. If Manning is asked to throw that often, he may improve his fantasy value over the course of the season.

Throughout his career, Manning has never been asked to do too much on offense, but he may have to this year with the lack of depth at running back behind David Wilson. It's also worth noting that Manning had some bad luck on his last interception.
