Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles is officially listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. Charles is dealing with an ankle injury, but with the probable designation, most expect him to play. That designation is supposed to denote a 75 percent chance of playing. Charles had a great game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14, carrying the ball 10 times for 91 yards and a touchdowns.
He also caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown. It was one of his better games this season. He's carried the ball 172 times for 898 yards and nine touchdowns, with 32 receptions for 234 yards and five touchdowns. He's been a very strong weapon in the red zone, though that hasn't translated to wins in recent weeks, as the Chiefs have lost their last three games.
Fantasy Impact: Charles will play on Sunday, and even though there's not a whole lot of confidence in the Chiefs as a whole, he should be started by fantasy owners. The Raiders are a bad football team, and Charles put up 120 all-purpose yards and a touchdown last time they played. Fantasy owners should start him with confidence. Knile Davis should not be a factor in the running game this week.
