New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram has run away with the starting job and the whole "Heisman running backs are busts" talk seems to have subsided these days -- around Ingram anyway.
He has been over 100 rushing yards in five of his last seven games as the Saints have become a more balanced attack on offense. What might be even more impressive is that he put up 100-yard games against the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers in that span. Ingram is getting a ton of carries and he should get at least 20 on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Ingram destroyed Carolina in Week 9 with 100 yards and two scores in a win. The Panthers have been the eight-worst defense against fantasy running backs and have been gashed throughout the season.
Fantasy impact: Ingram is a great option to use in most fantasy formats this week. He is also someone to consider in FanDuel, too.
