Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin continues to suffer setbacks in his health. Maclin is now dealing with a hamstring injury on top of his slow recovery from knee surgery, and has yet to play in the preseason. The Eagles have yet to confirm if he will appear in Thursday's game against their in-state rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
Maclin is just over a year removed from tearing his ACL in training camp. He looked less than 100 percent and struggled in a joint practice session with the New England Patriots. Maclin last played in 2012, recording 69 catches for 857 yards and seven touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: The Eagles have a lot riding on Maclin after jettisoning DeSean Jackson, but it's fair to wonder if he will be the same after last year's devastating injury. His ADP is still hovering around the top of the sixth round, which is becoming harder to justify if he can't suit up on Thursday. With that kind of price tag, fantasy owners should be looking for safer bets at this point.
