Brian Quick was once again missing from the injury report heading into Week 2. Regardless, Quick was once again ruled inactive. Quick had shoulder surgery in 2014. While the shoulder is healed enough to keep Quick off the injury report, the St. Louis Rams are taking their time with his return. While Quick gets caught up on his missed time this offseason, receviers Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin will once again carry the workload. Stedman Bailey is expected to fill in as the team's No. 3 receiver. Quick has shown flashes of talent in his young career, but it remains to be seen if he can maintain chemistry with quarterback Nick Foles.
Fantasy impact: With Quick out yet again, Britt and Austin deserve some consideration for fantasy owners in need of a wide receiver option in their lineups. Austin may offer the most upside in PPR leagues. He only caught two passes in Week 1, but is a dual-threat receiver whom the Rams will need to get open more often against Washington's secondary. Austin is a low-end WR3 with upside in 12-team leagues. Britt is more of a boom-or-bust option. If Foles is willing to go deep against Washington's subpar secondary, Britt only needs one or two big catches for a good fantasy week. Still, both options are a risk while the Rams' offense settles into some consistency.
