Top two players on the PGA Tour money list will be in the field of the final tournament of the season.
The final event of the PGA season will feature the top two players on the money list, both with a chance to claim the season-long title. Webb Simpson heads into the 2011 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic with a lead of $363,029 over No. 2 Luke Donald.
Simpson's lead is not entirely insurmountable. Donald can take the money title by winning the event and having Simpson finish no better than a tie for second. If Donald fails to win, Simpson would be assured of the money title as long as he finishes no worse than a three-way tie for seventh or by himself in eighth.
There are plenty of other golfers in the field that could throw a wrench into things. Also playing in the event are Justin Rose (ranked No. 17 in the world), Gary Woodland (No. 42 in the world), Gary Woodland (No. 18 on money list), Charles Howell III (No. 25 on money list) and Spencer Levin (No. 33 on money list) are just some of the other players that are in the field.
