Luke Donald came into the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic atop the PGA Tour money list, and capped his year with an exclamation point on Sunday in Florida. Donald didn't just win the money list title: he won the final tournament of the year, beating the field by two strokes. Donald's final round 64 was the the low round of the day, and brought him from behind for the tournament win.
Justin Leonard, who entered the final round tied for the lead, carded a 1-under 71 and finished in second at 15-under for the tournament. Tom Pernice Jr., Sunghoon Kang and Kevin Chappell finished in a tie for third at 14-under.
Webb Simpson was chasing Donald on the money list, but finished in a tie for sixth at 13-under. Simpson had been hanging around all week, but was unable to catch a blazing-hot Donald in the final round.
