The Memorial Tournament, Round 1: Leaderboard Topped By Rory McIlroy, Chris Riley At Day's End

The 2011 Memorial golf tournament's first day ended with a tie at the top of the leaderboard thanks to a strong back nine by Chris Riley and a hot start by Rory McIlroy. The pair ended up scoring 6-under for the day, each at one point shooting three birdies in a row.

Chris DiMarco and Josh Teater were close behind at 5-under each, with DiMarco reaching 7-under at one point before bogeying two of the last three Muirfield Village holes. Teater scored an eagle on hole No. 11. They're followed by a swelling herd at 4-under, which includes Rickie Fowler, Stewart Cink, Steve Stricker and a multitude of others.

Hunter Mahan and Matt Kuchar headline those at 3-under, while Ben Curtis, K.J. Choi and Luke Donald are among the 2-under crowd.
