The way things are going, 2012 is shaping up to be the year for tell-all books about Tiger Woods. Following his dismissal as Woods' caddy, Steve Williams threatened to write a book with salacious details he learned while working in close quarters with the famous golfer. The status of that book is unknown, but Woods' former swing coach, Hank Haney, is preparing to publish a book of his own, with a release date set for March.
Queried about the book on Thursday, Woods expressed disappointment, both in Haney's betray of his trust and the timing of the release -- one week after The Masters.
"I think it's unprofessional and very disappointing," Woods told ESPN.com in a telephone interview, "especially because it's someone I worked with and trusted as a friend.
"There have been other one-sided books about me, and I think people understand that this book is about money. I'm not going to waste my time reading it."
Woods has been through an up-and-down past few years, beginning with his highly-publicized incident with then-wife Elin Nordegren that eventually led to allegations of cheating and a divorce. Throughout the off-course troubles, Woods has struggled with injuries and inconsistency on the course, though he final found his way back to the top of the leaderboard at the Chevron World Challenge at the end of 2011.

Haney's Book
I saw an interview with Hank on Golf Channel, He said the stories are his as well as Tiger’s. That’s true, but if Tiger was not so famous the stories would not be worthy of print. Visit our Blog @ http://www.askussports.com
