With Padraig Harrington pacing Bubba Watson, Webb Simpson and Keegan Bradley through the first round of the Grand Slam of Golf, the four golfers, all major champions, will tee off again on Wednesday in a foursome at 9:30 a.m. from Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda.
Harrington came out firing in the off-season contest of Grand Slam champs, shooting a 2-under on the front nine with three birdies. He was even better on the back nine, coming in 3-under on holes 10 through 18 for a 5-under on the first round.
Watson will look to gain ground on the lone non-American in the field, as Watson enters the second and final round at 3-under, two strokes back of Harrington. Simpson (2-under) and Bradley (1-over) are also both within striking distance despite the abbreviated nature of the tournament.
Bradley, the defending Grand Slam of Golf champion, was the only golfer to shoot over par on the day.
