2012 CIMB Classic scores: Bo Van Pelt and Robert Garrigus tied for lead after three rounds

Bo Van Pelt birdied nine of his first twelve holes on Saturday.

Bo Van Pelt surged into a tie for the lead on Saturday at the CIMB Classic, firing a 9-under 62. Van Pelt flirted with the elusive 59, but a double bogey on No. 18 eliminated any chance of that. He started the day seven shots behind the tournament's leader, Robert Garrigus.

Garrigus faltered a bit on Saturday. After consecutive rounds of 64, the Idaho native managed a 69 in Round 3. Just getting to a 2-under 69 was a struggle for Garrigus, who birdied his final three holes to make up for a rough start.

Tiger Woods started the day in a good position to move up the leaderboard. He shot a 5-under 30 on the front nine, but ended up with a 39 on the back. Woods will start the final round five strokes behind Van Pelt and Garrigus.
