Phil Mickelson will be back on the course this week, riding high from his win at the AT&T National Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Paired with Tiger Woods for the final day of the tournament, Mickelson turned in a superb round, shooting up the leaderboard to record the win. This week, Mickelson joins an excellent field that includes many of the world's top golfers at the Northern Trust Open.
Luke Donald will be making his 2012 season debut at Riviera and will be joined by Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott, K.J. Choi and others. Aaron Baddeley and Dustin Johnson will also be back on the course after competing at Pebble Beach this past weekend.
But all eyes are on Mickelson once again as golf fans wait to see just how in-form he is after his Pebble Beach win. Mickelson captivated the audience on Sunday at Pebble, turning what was supposed to be an old-style showdown with Woods into a complete rout.
The tournament will be held at Riviera Country Club, a difficult course that serves as a solid tune-up for many of the world's best golfers. Riviera is located in the Pacific Palisades community and boasts a par of 71.
