The third round of the 2012 RBC Heritage Classic is underway on Saturday in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The current leaders have only just teed off, but there are already plenty of players starting to make a move on the penultimate day of the PGA tournament.
Colt Knost entered the day atop the leaderboard at 9-under, with a two-stroke lead over his partner for the day, Carl Pettersson. Knost bogeyed the par-4 opening hole, losing a stroke off his lead and sliding to 8-under while Pettersson made par and remains at 7-under. Boo Weekly and Harris English are 1-under for the day and have knotted Pettersson in second place, at 7-under.
Close behind Knost and Pettersson are a quarter of golfers at 5-under. Zach Johnson and Charley Hoffman are making moves, with both players at 2-under on the day through five holes and join Fredrik Jacobson and Chad Campbell at 5-under.
Without even counting the six golfers who are currently at 4-under, the action is heating up and these final two rounds should be very interesting.
