Swede Carl Pettersson has his first PGA Tour win since 2010, as he handily won the 2012 RBC Heritage Classic. He'll receive $1.026 million for his win over Zach Johnson and Colt Knost, who were five- and six strokes off the lead respectively.

A week after missing the cut at the Masters, Pettersson has his fifth PGA Tour victory in an off week for the majority of the PGA Tour's bigger names. Pettersson bogeyed the par-5 15 to put himself at 14-under, but it he wasn't in trouble at any point during the day, starting off with three birdies on his first three holes while his closest competitor in Knost bogeyed on his first hole and triple bogeyed on his third, leaving nobody in real contention of threatening Petterssen.

Johnson had a one-stroke lead on Knost at 10-under, but bogeyed the 18th, which looked like it would cost the 2007 Masters winner a sole shot at second. However, Knost hit the sand and missed a 10-foot putt for par that stopped less than a ball's length away from finding the hole. Incidentally, Johnson was also the runner-up in one of Petterson's other four tour wins, the 2006 Memorial Tournament.
