With the three top golfers in the 2012 FedEx Cup not participating in this weekend's RBC Heritage Classic, Carl Pettersson took advantage, shooting up the standings from No. 17 to No. 4 with his victory on Sunday.

The 500 points Pettersson received for winning make him the sixth golfer this season to clear the 1,000 point barrier, as the Swedish golfer now has a projected total of 1,111.

Hunter Mahan's 1,378 points are still atop the leaderboard, with Masters champion Bubba Watson checking in at No. 2 with 1,322 and Phil Mickelson right behind behind him at 1,136.

Johnson Wagner and Rory McIlroy both slipped a spot due to Pettersson's ascent, while the idle Tiger Woods fell to No. 11.

And with most of the tour taking the week off after the Masters, Pettersson wasn't the only golfer who used the RBC's thin field to make a move. After finishing in second place, Zach Johnson rose 23 spots to No. 16.
