The 2003 champion of the British Open, Ben Curtis, is in position to win his first tournament on the PGA Tour since 2006 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open. He has a three-shot lead on second-place Matt Every, who is looking for his first win on tour, and a five-shot lead on another group of players. He started his Saturday with a couple of double bogeys, but fought back to finish at one-over par for his third round, keeping the lead he built on most of the field on the tournament's first three days.
Unlike most tournaments, the fourth round of the Texas Open will feature threesomes and split tees. All of the leaders will go off from the first hole, with Curtis and Every starting their day at 11:25 a.m. local time, 12:25 p.m. ET.
Tee times are from PGATour.com. All times are local, which is Central Daylight Time.
