Veteran golfer and former Masters champion Mark O'Meara has been forced to withdraw from the tournament due to a pulled muscle. The 55-year old, two-time major champion was scheduled to tee off at 11:08 a.m. ET, but his tournament ended before he completed a hole. The PGA Tour tweeted out the news.

O'Meara won both the Masters and the British Open in 1998 en route to being named the 1998 PGA Player of the Year. He had multiple unfortunate injury issues after that season and never regained his form from that season. He has only had one top-10 finish in a major since 1998, when he tied for eighth place at the 2003 Masters.
