Tiger Woods started Day 2 at the 2012 Masters with birdies on his first hole and hole No. 3 to make a big early move up the leaderboard. He has since settled down from his fast start, however, bogeying No. 4 and hitting par on No. 5 to fall to 1-under on the day and overall.
Woods had a very feasible roughly six-foot putt for par on No. 4 but left it well short, forcing him to tap in for bogey. He made essentially the same putt for par on the next hole. He is four shots off the lead, which is now shared by Jason Dufner, Fred Couples, Sergio Garcia and Rory McIlroy at 5-under after Lee Westwood double-bogeyed on the 18th hole.
