Masters Leaderboard Update: Lee Westwood Doubles 18, Rory McIlroy Among Leaders

And the 18th hole at Augusta National strikes again. On Thursday, it was Henrik Stenson heading to 18 with the lead, only to quadruple bogey the hole -- a snowman -- to fall well off the pace. On Friday, Lee Westwood was the victim, surrendering a lead he's managed to hold for the better part of the last two days.

Westwood found trouble on his approach, leaving it short and left of the green. It was a shot that had no chance, despite his relatively good position off the tee. A poor pitch left Westwood with work to do, and a missed bogey putt left him to clean up for double-bogey.

With the double, Westwood went from leading the tournament to trailing by a stroke. At 5-under, a group of four -- Fred Couples, Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia and Jason Dufner -- are now leading The Masters. Dufner is in the clubhouse at 5-under, Couples is at that number through 17, and McIlroy and Garcia still have some work to do out on the course.

Westwood is in a tie for fifth with Louis Oosthuizen, each at 4-under and in the clubhouse.
