2012 Masters Leaderboard Update: Louis Oosthuizen Holds Lead, Bubba Watson, Matt Kuchar, Peter Hanson Trail

The leaders are through seven at Augusta, and Louis Oosthuizen -- the South African known for his 2012 British Open win and, well, not much else -- has a two-stroke lead on the strength of his albatross on the second hole.

Oosthuizen has finished above tenth in a major twice: ninth in last year's US Open and his win at the British (his only PGA Tour win), but his -9 has him in the lead as he takes on the eighth hole.

Peter Hanson, who came into the round with the lead, has a pair of bogeys on the day and pulled a makeable birdie putt short on the seventh. Oosthuizen's partners in his round, Bubba Watson and Matt Kuchar, have come on strong, with rounds of 1- and 2-under respectively, to catch Hanson.

Phil Mickelson's chances appear to have faded after his whimsical take on the par-3 fourth. He sits at five-under.
