Bubba Watson didn't just win his first major on Sunday, he also brought home a $1.44 million purse for his troubles.
Every golfer who made the cut, with the exception of three amateurs, received some money on Sunday.
Louis Oosthuizen, who lost a dramatic sudden death playoff to Watson, received $864,000 while the four golfers tied for third (Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood, Peter Hanson and Matt Kuchar) received $364,000.
Everyone who finished above par made at least $124,000 with cash prizes dropping by the tens of thousands for every stroke farther out.
Vijay Singh and Keegan Bradley won $56,800 for finishing in a tie for 27th at +2, while Luke Donald and Zach Johnson, who were among five golfers to finish at +3, received $45,280.
Tiger Woods, tied for 40th at +5, received $32,000, which may not sound like much for him, but he is a recently divorced man.
