Golf Channel’s Erik Kuselias Moves On -- Again

Stay connected with SB Nation

Former Golf Channel “Morning Drive” co-host Erik Kuselias may not want to unpack his office belongings just yet, since the controversial TV broadcaster seems to not drop anchor for very long.

Kuselias, who left ESPN in 2010 when the sports station did not renew his contract, was co-anchor with Gary Williams, of “Morning Drive” since the show debuted in January 2011 until Monday, when he moved over to GC’s parent company.

“Erik Kuselias has shifted his focus from Golf Channel to the NBC Sports Network,” Dan Higgins, Golf Channel’s senior director for public relations, told us Wednesday in an e-mail. “There have been no discussions concerning a replacement.”

If the opinions whipping around Twitter are any indication, golf watchers will not miss Kuselias, who is reportedly engaged to former “Morning Drive” co-worker, Holly Sonders.

“In topical terms,” tweeted CBSSports.com’s Steve Elling earlier this week, “co-hosts Erik Kuselias and Gary WIlliams had all the chemistry and rhythm of ... Kevin Na and his driver.”

‘Nuff said.
