2012 continues to be Jason Dufner's breakout year, as his victory in the Byron Nelson Tournament this weekend gave the former journeyman his second championship of the PGA season.
The win also moved Dufner to the very top of the FedEx Cup Standings, as he moved from No. 12 to No. 1 on Sunday. His 1,425 points are narrowly ahead of No. 2 Hunter Mahan's 1,395.
With many of the top golfers on Tour skipping the Nelson, there wasn't much movement in the standings this week. Mahan, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy round out the top 5, with Mickelson moving ahead of McIlroy in the only other change at the top of the standings.
Farther back in the pack, the other big riser was Dicky Pride, who moved from all the way from No. 117 to No. 43.
