Kevin Na's pre-shot routine at The Players Championship was difficult to ignore -- even for fellow PGA Tour pros.
Since he made his professional debut in 2003, Kevin Na has been one of the notoriously slow players on the PGA Tour. But it wasn’t until his struggles with his pre-shot routine at The Players Championship went viral that the 28-year-old gained a measure of renown -- among his peers as well as with golf watchers.
Here, then, is fellow tour pro and Crowne Plaza Invitational competitor Ryan Palmer’s affectionate but dead-on impersonation of Na (prior to Na's new and improved swing approach, unveiled this week at Colonial CC) setting up to hit a drive (much to the amusement of fans gathered for a recent golf clinic with Peter Jacobson, according to CBSSports.com):
