Zach Johnson may have a win in the bag at the Crowne Plaza Invitational after Jason Dufner needed seven strokes on the par-four 15th.
Dufner's first mistake was an approach shot that rolled off the green, over some rough and plopped into the water. Then, after finally getting it onto the green, he knocked it close but then missed a four-foot putt to add another stroke to his hole. He's +5 over his last eight holes
Johnson was four strokes up, but he also made a silly mistake on the 16th hole pushing a short putt just to the left as the putt rolled all the way around the hole before twirling out.
So, with two holes left, Dufner is three strokes down, which is doable, but the sloppy way he's playing makes it seem as if it's unlikely. Unless Johnson misses more extremely close putts, that is.
