Tiger Woods is tied for second place following the first round of the 2012 U.S. Open, but he is the betting favorite heading into round two.
Woods enters round two as the 9/4 favorite, up from the 6/1 odds he was given to prior to the start of the tournament. Justin Rose, who is also tied for second place at 1-under, has the second-best odds heading into Friday's second round at 8/1.
Matt Kuchar, who shot an even-par 70 in the first round, has the third best odds at 14/1. Graeme McDowell and Jim Furyk are both listed with 16/1 odds following the first round. First round leader Michael Thompson is now a 25/1 favorite.
Phil Mickelson, who was a 20/1 favorite prior to the tournament, is now a 125/1 favorite following his 6-over 76 in the first round. Luke Donald fell from a 12/1 favorite pre-tournament to a 150/1 favorite after he shot a 9-over 79 on Thursday.
