U.S. Open Leaderboard 2012: Lee Westwood

Stay connected with SB Nation

After struggling slightly the first two rounds of the 2012 U.S. Open, Englishman Lee Westwood is the clubhouse leader at two-over par at the Olympic Club in San Francisco following his third round 67.

Among the players still on the course are American (and former U.S. Open Champion) Jim Furyk at even par on the ninth hole paired with the struggling Tiger Woods, who is four-over on his round today and three-over for the tournament. Nicolas Colsaerts is currently playing the tenth hole at Olympic and is one-over for the tournament, one shot back from Furyk.

Westwood -- currently ranked third in the Official World Golf Rankings behind Luke Donald and Rory McIlory, both of whom missing the cut this week -- has the chance to be the first Enlighman to win a major since Nick Faldo at the 1996 Masters.
